APARC pupils jumped at the chance to get creative with old cardboard boxes, sheets and string for Den Day 2017. The initiative by Save the Children saw our school join children across the UK in building dens of all shapes and sizes to learn about the importance of shelter for children across the world and help raise money to change lives. It was a fun afternoon of teamwork, and a chance for the children to use their imaginations to turn their ideas into their very own constructions, and all in a great cause.
